Allied Nutrition had the privilege to attend the SAPPO AGM and Conference held on 4-5 September 2019 at Misty Hills Country Hotel, Conference Centre & Spa in Muldersdrift.

The theme for this years SAPPO conference was “Shift towards an intelligent future”. We learnt a lot from the likes of Jordi Mora, Dr Lia Hoving, Karl Dinkelmann and Diego Padoan who shared with us their knowledge regarding the use of technology and the correct interpretation of data to improve production efficiency on farm. Rodrigo Godinho and Helle Palmoe shared with us their experience on implementing the correct breeding programme for long term sustainability of our businesses and the pig industry. We also experienced the launch of World of Pork platform and Martin Hobbs inspired and motivated us to not give us up during these trying economic times, but rather to “just keep swimming, one arm stroke at a time”.

We are looking forward to attending SAPPO AGM and Conference 2020.
